I have a hard time understanding why people think that celebs aren’t gonna get and look older. We all get older. I am 46 yrs old and I grew up watching many of these people from their humble beginnings. We are human. We get older. We gain and lose weight. We get wrinkles and grey hair. It’s human for these celeb’s appearances to change. One day those of you jabbing at these people for the simple fact that they are aging, gaining weight etc will begin to look your age. I also feel the same about their drug and alcohol addictions. Addiction can hit ANYONE at any time and as quickly as they picked up that habit so could anyone else in the world. None of us are immune to change. It’s just a fact of life. If you had to live up to Hollywood standards do you think you would be immune to the pressures of being always in the spotlight? I believe that alone can change a person drastically. That being said, we need to begin to embrace ourselves and others for who they are inside. Don’t take people at face value because who they are inside could shine brighter than any star!

I applaud and admire Kelly Clarkson for that awesome answer to an insensitive and ignorant person calling her “fat” on Twitter. I am glad she doesn’t care about other people’s opinions and take care of herself the way she wants to.
