I'm a flight attendant for 11 years here are some more. 1. pax can't resolve their issues with fellow pax on their own.Thinking we are teachers 2.poking us from behind, when they need something 3.feeling entitled to everything, because they paid 4. asking and demanding for upgrades just because 5.Pax snapping their fingers when they want to call the crew. 6. handing over used diapers and air sickness bags 7. Leaving their bags and luggage on the aisle then telling the crew to stow place it in the overhead. Sometimes the crew are thinner than them.

Oversized people know they are large, and should know about the second seat policy. Planes that have business class and first class usually have larger seats, as well as more space in between seats. Two times a coach seat price may be more expensive than going up a class or two. My experience anyway. Check it out at booking.

There are a lot of horror stories here, but I would like to provide a "WIN"story: In July of 2019, I flew from San Francisco to Taipei. United Airlines. I couldn't get a window seat as I always want and was seated third from left in the middle section of an Airbus A30. That's probably the worst seat in the whole plane, right? The left next to the left aisle was a mother, next to me was a baby and to my right was a guy in his mid-20s. That mother managed that baby so well there was no crying my entire flight. Getting near Taipei, the baby's feet appeared on my lap. That mother tried to apologize and I said "No no no, it's okay" and went back to sleep. Wow this should have been the flight that was a disaster, but that mother managed that child so well. I highly commend her. When exiting, I stared the flight attendants and pilot in the faces and said "Thank you for everything. I appreciate it." United Airlines doesn't have the best reputation, but the flight attendants and pilots are still humans and they did their best. (big thumbs up).

I don't understand why the heck any one would stand while the plane is landing... it's dangerously bumpy. I hate the landing part sitting down, let alone, standing up. Those people are INSANE!!!

I couldn't do it. The public is full of idiots and buttholes who lack common decency and common sense. The overhead compartment space would have me giving out that toddler toy with the shapes and you stuff them in.😂

If you want to see just how dumb some people are, go on an airline flight.

Yeah, you don't need to hog all the overhead space! In fact, you should only take a small bag with essentials in it and store it at your feet or on your lap!

Flight attendants do a great job and they need to be respected by the passengers. Just as passengers who are from different walks of life like Doctors, Engineers, Businessmen, Workers need respect from others, so do Flight Attendants. Whatever the case, Air Hostesses should look nice, sweet, kind, hot and sexy so that passengers fall head over heels on them when they are seen in the flight. Flight Attendants are the face of the Airline and they represent them, so they should care for the Airline's image. This does not mean that passengers should be unruly but just respect them for what they are doing in the aircraft.

No body wants overstuffed overheads above them Especially if the baggage fall's down on anyone. Stay in your seat's in use the bathroom when appropriate and please keep your feet on the ground, no one wants to be around your feet. Over-sized people SHOULD pay for 2 seats. Fuel is calculated into the cost of the ticket, not only by head-count, but BY WEIGHT. I won't even start on the comfortability of sitting next to someone who 'exceeds' the armrests & enters 'the space' to which I paid.

I heard of 1 flight that actually had to re-route to land early because some mother flushed a poo-loaded diaper. It clogged the toiled & caused a horrific stench throughout the aircraft.

Worst flight I had was London to Charlotte on BA. A 9-hour flight & a 7-hour screaming baby. It finally stopped 2 hours before the landing.

I agree with all of them accept for the bathroom. Some people, present company included, have to go when natures calls and unfortunately for me that's pretty regularly. If the beverage cart is in the aisle it makes going that much tougher. So, I can't agree with that one.

I once had a flight and the only seat was in the middle. To my right was this huge lady who took up part of my shoulder space. She sit in the window seat. It would have been really nice if she had taken the isle. She was so fat that she couldn't even reach her right hand past her left hand to get her drink. I was first annoyed but then I began to feel bad for her as I could see that she was embrassed because I had to pass her drink..

Now whenever I fly with my little one who is slightly autistic I put together tiny little bags for other passengers. In each bag I have a note saying “Hi! my name is ::blank:: and I am autistic! I am so sorry if I cry it’s only because I’m scared. I hope these little presents help. Thank you!” I also put in a few pieces of candy and sugar-free candy as well as disposable earplugs. Since I started doing this the flights have been much better for us and the other passengers.

I also feel bad for parents who have new babies (not literally newborns since most airlines do not allow babies under a certain age onto the plane) and young kids. I mean don’t get me wrong there are very few things in the world that annoy me more than a nonstop crying child however as someone who has flown with kids myself don’t you all think if I could stop him from crying I would? You have no idea how embarrassing it is for parents when your kid has a terrible ear ache and not only can you not fix it but other passengers are getting upset with you when you were already embarrassed and helpless.

I respect that. I think it’s more negligent parents. I DONT like kids, but at the same time they don’t have the tools yet to deal with or vocalize frustration and discomfort the way the rest of us do. So they can’t really be faulted for that. I’ve known many flight attendants and from hearing their horror stories the worst are Karen’s, racists, people who think they own the world, and drunk assholes. Also when men think it’s ok to whistle snap or grab.

I disagree with your one sided opinion on going to the bathroom when the seat belt sign is on. Sometimes you can't go when the seat belt sign is off because there's a f***ing line! If everyone else is waiting for the seat belt sign to go off, a line forms quickly. Sometimes you CAN'T plan ahead of time because the seat belt sign has been on for an hour, then gets shut off for like FIVE SECONDS, before getting put back on. Sometimes you have to deal with a child who doesn't understand "planning ahead". Sometimes you have an emergency to deal with... but yeah shitting or pissing yourself right there in your seat is SO MUCH better than MAYBE, POSSIBLY hurting yourself or someone else while trying to make it to a bathroom. Sorry I'm going to take the chance that I'll make it to the bathroom okay.

In the late 70's & 80's I used to fly back and forth across the US to visit my dad and they served meals. The last time I flew in 91 they served a meal too. I have no idea when they stopped.
